Lihong WU is Professor at Dalian Maritime University, where she has been serving as a faculty member since 2010, teaching undergraduate courses in Ship Resistance and Ship Propulsion, and a postgraduate course in Marine Propeller Theory. Her research focuses on marine propeller design and hydrodynamics, ship hydrodynamics, and computational fluid dynamics.
